Kids Poker Shop was created due to the success of our children's clothing line at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
In April of 2007 a young couple started a company called GAMBLIN CLOTHING CO. In London, Ontario Canada. They hit the billiard and poker market by storm and needed to branch out into the USA by the Spring of 2008. They started another business based out of Nevada called Gamblin Clothing Company, LLC.
During the Super Billiards Expo in 2008 Dawn Hopkins asked if we had anything to donate as prizes for the kids tournament. We could not justify promoting " Gamblin" to children, so we came out with a whole new line of clothing called PLAYIN directed at children. That's what kids do they just play the game.
After this event we received many other requests for clothing for children. We did some research and found that there is nothing really for them, so we decided to do something about it! Here it is the first poker clothing line just for kids.
At the World Series of Poker in July of 2008 we launched the PLAYIN line with everything you see on this website. Everyone was happy to find something for their children, grandchildren, niece, nephew, and even their friends children. They loved the clothing and wanted to know how to order more in the future, so we decided to make a website devoted to just the PLAYIN clothing line.
